Will be heading to ride today with the MNSBR group, unless anyone would like to go for a rip from here. If any one would like to go, either post up or i will be leaving approx at 11:15 from the Holiday gas station on Folsom Street.

How do you do it? What are you equipped with that makes you WANT to ride when it's below 40 degrees? Tell me! It's a pleasant, sunny day wherein I would TOTALLY take advantage were it only 15-20 degrees warmer.

BTW, if anyone (aaron) types "testicles" I'm hunting you down and verbally assaulting you (seriously. I'll even break out the Shakespeare insult generator). The rest of you "manly men" are probably still in pj's and greasy. Like me. Or in CA. Sissies.

...maybe there is something to that grip warmer theory...

In all seriousness though, under 40 is cold, makes my fingers get numb. I rode to work the other day when it was 37 out yanno.

You guys should go riding Monday, looks quite nice!

Like I mentioned to Turd today.... Im looking at putting on about 1500 more miles on yet this year. As Jray would say "I have the sickness " Have had it since I was in 3rd grade......... not quite as bad as I have it now.

I look at it this way... a decent session of sex last anywhere from a hour to 4. A delicious meal may consume a couple of hours. A satisfying shit may take me 15 minutes. Card games with buds lasts about 3 hours.

If I averaged 60 miles per hour this year, I was in the saddle of one or the other bike for 450 hours. That is over 56 days, if I rode 8 hours a day. I believe 28 or 29 states (lost count) and parts of Canada.

I feel I gain life experiences almost every time I take another journey, see new things, meet new people. Its just what I do.

I may have a sore ass some mornings, back may be giving me some grief, but im always happy to be on the bike. 400 miles in the pouring rain to get to the MOTOGP... worst rain storm I have ever ridden in in my life...... a little scary at time but i was in my element.

Temperature has never stopped me from my joy....... snow and salt have. (I refuse to get hand warmers on either bike. Like cruise control on the bike, It just wouldn't be biken)
