Nothing wrong with a brand new suit. Not for $200. Besides, your fungus would be your own. Also? It wears just as well on regular rides too...just a hint there.

Yeah I like the idea of that...I just have to get Turd's "get your suit on/off" remedy, I heard its a doosy.

I didn't read the description that close but I would guess its a 50 us. I don't think you tried it on but my Astar is a 54 euro and if I remember right it was a bit loose on P.C. Sizes can run different between manufacturers. Hope this helps.

I think there was talk of maybe making this one a club event? Just curious if that's still even a possibility and who's all going to this one either way and what day?
Sorry for all the questions but it looks like I'm going to be starting a new job in the middle of July and I'm just trying to get my priorities straight.

Shootin' fer Saturday on this one, regardless of whether it's a club thing or not. Again, would rather not go alone.

Yeah I hear ya. Not that I didn't have fun by myself but I think it would be much better with some more people.

Different, for sure, not necessarily better.
The best on-track experience I had was a 2-day solo venture to Barber.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing like running with (and sometimes over) your friends, but there's also nothing like being "alone" on the track either.
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

You guys are looking at it all crabbed. I meant someone to drive my busted ass stuff home and dig the 200 bucks out of the secret compartment in my boot for food and lodging near the hospital....which is why you bring people who like you well enough.
Or someone to share the overall experience with. I'd hate sitting around by myself in a lawn chair...pickin' my nose...no one to rehash the day's highs and lows with...can't imagine not going without my brother to BIR.
Regarding riding with those you know, honestly, I can't even remember if Al ever passed me in Novice. Or if he was IN Novice.

I guess I see your point, I did like being alone and I'm sure it would be a better time for me if I went and ran I group.
In all honesty it was a great time but Novice group sucked and after my first open session I got kinda drilled by the instructor's which increased the whole suckiness factor and I kinda figured running with some of you guy's/gal's would be more fun but maybe I should just give it another try and see what it's like in a different group.
I guess the biggest thing is just having people to BS with that are cool (like all of you guy's/gal's) in between sessions would make it more fun. But the wife really loved it so I know she will be there.

Yeah that's why I bring the wife.
I brought 4 people to autobahn with me and I can say that I will never do that again. 5 people stuffed in a bonneville for 6 hours at a time, poor car.
I really need to invest in to a winne or a molester van.
But some other riders to talk track side with would be great.
And somebody that knows how to use a fucking camera. Good lord was I pissed when I found out that my brother (camera man) didn't take any picture's and of course there was no track photographer either. :banghead:

O.K. Back to the original thread...
I'm signed up for Sat. the 12th. Byron B. will be there and also may have a couple other guys interested. Going down Friday night, camping in the infield for free.
Would be nice if we could get a good group together from the area. It's a fun little track, couple of nice corner sections, fairly decent length straight, not too high speed.
Hope to see everyone down there.

Do I participate in track day @BHF? Or just hang out and screw off while others participate? Hmm.

I vote you don't get a vote when you don't show up when you promised, with several witnesses, to lead the Sunday ride. :flipoff:
I kid, of course, because it was way more funner, or is it funnerer, without you.

I was curious for anyone that has been there before do they have power for warmers? I don't really want to go out and buy a generator but I will if I have to.
Offline
the last time i was there, power was extremely limited. they've done a lot of infrastructure work since then, but i'm not sure if adding power was part of that.

Anyone know if there are fire pits in the camping area? At RA we had to bring our own fire bowl... I can't track down any info on camping on-site.
