Blown motor after first session, noticed blown axle bearing on trailer when trying to leave, was done riding by 9:20am after searching for parts and fixing trailer didn't get home til 9:30pm. Got the top of the motor off by 10:00pm (not looking good) I'm putting this on my worst days ever calendar. :banghead: :beer: :suicide:

I want to thank everyone there for all there help. You all made the day still worth going and were there when I needed ya so thanks to all and I wish you all a safe return and a great weekend.

Its funny our lil Irish friend (who drove 230 miles on an RZ350) took better pics...not as many...but better! I'm guessing Mr.Finger took better pics too...though I doubt we'll ever see them...;)

In pieces. I had it almost all back together and then found out that there is a race cam in there and I didn't mark it when I took it apart so now I have to buy the degree tools to reinstall it.

Can't run the R1 as a novice and even if I could it is no where near legal so yes there will be a new bike for sure in the stable not sure what yet maybe two if I decide to ditch the R1 but time will tell. I actually will be inquiring about sponsorship from Karl's but I have no idea how that will go over yet. I do believe that CRA will be my home next year but I am leaning towards getting all the credentials needed to maybe particapate in a few CCS or WERA events just for some experience and track time on other tracks and organizations.

I may be getting a little ahead of myself but this is truly a desire of the heart for me and regardless of the outcome I will not be out to just have fun and compete but I will do this how I do everything else which is balls out to the best of my ability (which is not much right now) and win or lose I will be able to say I did my best.
