Well I'm glad everyone made it out alright. smile

I figured I'd post up what I got. There's some clips before and after the on board video (third session of the day) but the on board stuff was really shaky so I guess my homemade mount sucked but better then nothing I guess. big_smile

Looks like fun was had by all! You both make me wish I could have been there. O.K... Crash06 more than Hind Tit, but HT it looked like you were doing fine before the turn 5 thing.

Glad everyone made it home unscathed and the bike isn't bad considering. Hope you get it fixed soon and we'll see you out and about.

You gotta love the different speeds and riding skills present in the intermediate group.
Always a challenge.

Hope I can make one of these yet this year. Then you can blow by me too.

If parts come in on Friday, I'll see you Sunday. I would've gone back out for the last session but I shaved so much material off the case cover, oil was oozing out. He's hideous, feel free to look away.

Actually I was going to ask a question pertaining to the ridiculous amount of variance in the intermediate group. For those of you that have rode Intermediate and advanced does it get more consistently paced in Advanced? I know I'm not real fast but I feel I'm pretty smooth and predictable and my best lap of the day was only 2.49:08 but there was no way to go any faster without stuffin people and I didn't want to ride like an ass so I was courteous when I passed which really killed a lot of my drive. So whats the pros and cons of Advanced???

Advanced = Racers. Typically smooth moving. Usually, if you have numbers..you're automatically put in advanced. Problem is when race level people WITHOUT numbers and have tiny penises (penisai), they go into intermediate to show everyone how fast they are. Last year I did inter, and some douche, who CLEARLY was advanced, was on a plain white R1 and shot past me WAY to close for a trackday. Imok with that when I know and trust u..didn't know him. Then he turns around and gestures for me to come play. SUCK it white-R1 guy. Just suck it smile

Well most of you will get a good laugh from this but I'm actually considering racing next year. Now don't get me wrong I in no way think that I'm really fast nor do I think I will actually win but I love to compete and I would really like to be able to rider harder then what is acceptable in intermediate track days and that's why I was curious about advanced since I know they don't have any restrictions on passing and such. I really loved this last track day but I can't count how many times I would be cruising up the front straight and have the guy in front of me chop the throttle 3/4 of the way and have to jack the brakes or wing around them and hope no one else was coming up the side of me. Not that I'm putting anyone's comfort level down but there is just such a huge range of skill level in intermediate that it's actually a little scary.  But I think next time I will do Intermediate again and just work with an instructor and see if I can bump up. Thanks for the info though and feel free to come next time and show me a thing or two!! smile

Crash,

There's no guarantee you're going to get a flying lap at any level during a track day for many reasons.

Some people who have no business in advanced will sign up because intermediate was full.

Some people who are crazy fast might not be looking at doing a fast lap.  They may working on some facet of their riding and will not be wringing the bikes neck down every straight.  This type of rider would be predictable, but slow.

Remember, never be afraid to use the rumblies on the outside of a corner to safely get past a slower bike big_smile

Scratch that. That dude Nick posted up on STT forum that there was NO photographer on Monday. Damn. It. Now I want to know who were the two people who were taking pictures of me...
