I went canoeing on the Kickapoo, it runs along 131 from Ontario to Rockton. I could hear the bikes ripping by, made me wish I was on mine, but the canoeing was fun too.

I agree!! It's always nice to infuse a little new blood into a group.
Wisconsin guys, just a little warning from your friendly neighborhood champ, bring the big tube of Preparation H if you're going to ride with nooky and his crew. I'm sure mileageguy and I had 300 miles on when we rolled back into the EC. My guess is nooky was approaching 400 by the time he dismounted. Yes, I know I'm a sissy so no need for anyone to post any smart-ass comments questioning my masculinity.
Maybe next time we'll come and play in your backyard. Either way, count me in.
Ramble, ramble, ramble....blah, blah, blah....I need to sleep.

Oh sheet I didn't know you were 8x champ on this board, I feel honored to have ridden with you : ) I bet you were wishing I would have kicked it up a notch hehe. As the summer wears on I do a 500 mile route called the RCKT Run, Wabasha start and it goes through Minnesota and crosses over at La Crescent and to Wildcat etc, back through the Cut and ends in Nelson. It isn't that hard on the body if you work up to it, but trying to ride at even 80% all day gets you worn out.

It'd be a little pretentious to introduce myself as 8x champ so, like Freddy Spencer, I USUALLY just have someone else do it for me because that's not pretentious at all. Jeff and Scott dropped the ball today and they will pay for it.
This RCKT Run sounds interesting. The roids are swelling just thinking about it. Just kidding about the roids.....or am I?

Hmm, yah i did notice that you were hanging your ass off the side of the bike while on 35 shooting up to Cty O. Little uncomfortable eh? You should really get that looked at!
OH WAIT! does that mean I was looking at your ass???? NO.

ok... i was getting a little tired... but i did come home and get the other bike out and go for a rip... that was a teaser to me. If any one wants to tag along they will see what i mean.. the day after track day... its strait to Colorado a differant style riding... but worth it when you see the mountains and the great roads that it has to offer.
I Noticed the champ leaning as well... wait... was i looking to? Next ill have a rainbow sticker on my bike.

I was wondering why you were pulling into every wayside we passed from Pepin to EC. Mystery solved.
The mileage thing must be psychological because I don't want to see my bike again until Sunday.

My God you wusses. I spent 5 1/2 hours canoeing down the Kickapoo river sunday, with an 85 lb dog that kept going from side to side in the canoe making me shift my weight every 60 seconds to keep us balanced. My back and ass were sore enough from saturday, when I rode my mt bike 30 miles up and down gravel roads in the area trying to get back into shape, much less sunday's canoe abuse. Sunday night I was drinking a wee bit, so monday's ride I was a bit hung over, and had a sore ass, and a sore back, before we even started.
Someone send me a cookie I'm a tough guy lol
