A club meeting will be held on Saturday, 4/17, at 12:00 noon at Buffalo Wild Wings in Eau Claire. We will be electing new officers. Please attend so your vote can be counted.

I know 3 of the 4 current officers aren't interested in retaining a leadership position. If you have ideas regarding what you want the club to do for its members, come to the meeting and become an officer or, at the very least vote, vote for the new officers.

There will be plenty of time, after the election, to dodge drunken Harley riders near Wabasha.

Anyway we can move this to a later date? Something has come up in the "save daughter's ass again department" that's going to take my entire day Sat.

My suggestion would be to hold this sometime in mid May after we've done a few rides... might get better turnout. SnowMan47 might be back by then. And it would be better if Mileageguy could attend since he is one of the current officers!

Just my 2 cents worth.

Jeff,

Your commitment to the club is evidenced by your current actions. If you want to be an officer, take an hour out of your day on Saturday and come to the meeting.

The election will be this Saturday as scheduled.

Here's an option. Rather than holding the election on 4/17, I'll resign, effective 4/17, and Paul can reschedule the election for a date when it fits better into everyone elses' schedule.

I like the sound of this.

So, let's make it official. As of 4/17/10, I resign my position as president of the Chippewa Valley Sportbike Club.
