Ok, the 23rd is a Friday. Could either buzz to Lacrosse around 3 and settle in and ride further south on Saturday or leave Saturday morning, unload in Lacrosse. Ride all day. To the people that are going, any preference ? If your planning on going please let us know asap. We could also wait and play it by ear If weather becomes a factor.

I'm a definite maybe (70/30). I vote for leaving Saturday A.M. so the fun riding will be done sans hangover. I suppose I could just behave myself, but what would Yellow Pauley think of that if we run into him again?

Works for me, just found out that October fest begins the day prior... we should find rooms before they all fill up or possibly look for a different nesting area. Ideas ?

Just get the Holiday Inn or whatever that is that is walking distance from the bars. Did we decide on what the club is/isn't paying for?

Still waiting on number of people, so no rooms have been saved. No idea of current balance, so no decisions have been discussed

This is 3 weeks away. If members knew the details [when, where, expenses (both club-paid and other)], they might be more likely to make a decision allowing leadership to finalize the plans.

Here is what I know, and don't.

Lacrosse Wisconsin, If rooms available.

Leave Eau Claire at roughly 9 am Saturday the 24th

Ride to lacrosse, drop off gear, ride down toward middleton on great roads

Come back to lacrosse, stay in hotel, eat and drink.

Wake Sunday, ride home.

Guessing 300 to 400 miles total.

NOt sure on how many so not sure If club is willing or able to pay anything. Hard to make that commitment without knowing numbers. I wouldn't plan on any club money.

I'm out. Going to Warrens Cranberry Fest via motorcycle that weekend to chill with the Momma. And if pc is any kind of son, he's out as well.

I don't carry the balance info around with me, but I'm pretty sure we've still got 1500 in the account, not including the 400(?) or so I haven't yet deposited from the Laguna ride.

I say, pay for the member rooms. I doubt you'll get more than a handful of paid members. I keep saying members.

Also, I added it to the calendar. In big bold letters. So there better not be any last minute bitching. Bitches.

Appleton is having Octoberfest, but the riding will suck.

Hayward Fall Fest (no clue what this is). Riding is good.

Lake Mills is having Octoberfest. By Madison. Riding is good.

Madsion or Duluth or Winona are fun cities with good riding on the way there.

Lots of Octoberfests for September, don't you think?
