Jen Maxwell

At Road America on 6/7, I met a wonderful rider and equally wonderful person in Jen Maxwell.  She is a regular with Leon and his Private Track Time events.  I saw her again at Blackhawk Farms the following Monday, 6/11.

She had a freak and very unfortunate accident in the early afternoon leaving her with severe head trauma.  She continues to breathe with the aide of a respirator and her brain functions are basic and not showing any signs of improvement.

I don't know her well and most, if not all, of you have never met her.  What I do know is that she, as well as every one of you, are good people.

I don't remember the last time I went to church, but I haven't let that stop me from sending up a few prayers for Jen and her family.  They could really use your prayers and positive thoughts right about now, too.

Thanks for caring.

Lowell

Re: Jen Maxwell

The power of prayer in numbers is an awsome thing.  How about talking to Leon and also having a prayer and moment of thought for her at the up coming riders meeting at Blackhawk?

Re: Jen Maxwell

Right now, she's in the critical care unit in Rockford.  Her parents have asked people not to send anything there because they won't be delivered because of possible bacterial contamination.  I'll see if I can't find an email address or forum.
