how do u feel about duct tape and zipties?
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

How about custom dented items extra fiberglass reinforcing but hey all the plastic does mount up!(and a few zip ties)

Are you guys just being dicks because im a college student who wants to get into your sport and cant afford an $9000 tiumph, or do youreally want to sell me a bike fixed up with duct tape and zip ties. I know there are plenty of 2000 year and newer bikes for at or around three grand and i thought you guys may have a lead on one.
Thanks anyway

It's all a joke about 12xChamp's bike, which IS held together by duct tape and zip ties. Not being dicks, just messing around.
I do not have any leads for you on bikes for sale, sorry. I couldn't afford to slap down cash for a good used one, that's why I bought a new one. Gotta love credit!

Nothing better then credit..... BUT my wife put a limit on it....FUCK

a brand new kawi ninja 250 is your best bet. cheap on gas, insurance, tires, and so on. also doesn't have all the problems that come with used bikes. people don't always sell crap, but if they know you are new to riding they might try to take advantage of you.

Not real pretty, but it has some things in its favor:
1. Good enough to learn on
2. Cheap enough to let you afford good gear right away. *see note below*
3. Its reasonably close.
** Good gear should be a bare minimum of leather gloves, an armored motorcycle jacket, full face helmet and boots. Leather pants and motorcycle specific boots would be ideal.
Check out http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/ and visit the bargain section for blow out prices for both his and hers gear.

paulc and Kramer are proud owners....personally, I like their throaty sound...reminds me of the Buell I crashed. I miss that bike. That I crashed.
Do I think I'm better than everyone? Only the ones I'm better than.

You know I dropped that to humor my brother, but I could just cry...it's like I have TWO MORE brothers. :eh:
Also, I meant I like the throaty sound of the SV650. Ah, heck I guess I like Paul & Kramer's throaty voices too.
