WTB: 600cc sportbike

A friend of a friend is looking for a 600.  I guess he doesn't really care too much which brand.  I'm not sure what he's looking to spend, either, so if you have one or know of one for sale, let me know.

My brother still has that YZF 750.  It's a '97, so that would be equivelant to todays 600's right?

I don't really recall either, but I think around 25k miles.  Great condtion for a '97. 
I believe its road ready.  I think the suspension is a little tired.  Price?  Low $3's or there abouts.
