Laguna Seca Absentee Rules

The following applies if you can not attend the Laguna Seca event, but would still like to be eligible to win prizes.

First, you must be a paid club member.  You must have paid your $25 annual membership fee.

Second, you must pay the $10 CVSC members Laguna registration fee.  This registration fee gets you two(2) raffle tickets.

Third, you can buy additional raffle tickets at the following prices:  $5 for one(1) ticket; $10 for two(2) tickets; $20 for five(5) tickets.

It is up to you, the member, to get your registration fee and any additional money for raffle tickets to a club officer.

It is up to you, the member, to designate a proxy for your raffle tickets and any winnings.  The club will not be responsible for choosing which prizes to enter your raffle tickets in nor delivery of any winnings including holding your winnings to be picked up at a later date.  If your proxy can not take your winnings with him/her, you forfeit your winnings and the club will retain ownership of said winnings.  All prizes remaining in the club's possession after August 9th will be given away, in another drawing, at a later date.

Allowing absentee participation is a departure from what has been done in years past.  My hope is that this will allow the good members of our club, who happen to have scheduling conflicts, an opportunity to reap one more of the benefits of membership to the CVSC.

I reserve the right to modify these rules if circumstances dictate changes are needed.
