The weather and roads are fantastic, and nobody has made it out here! Jerks.

Although honestly, my bike sat for almost a year without me riding it other than a quick run to a friend's place down the freeway. Boring. Boring. Boring. But now I have a garage spot, and free time, and took it out the other day. Mid-day Thursday, skipped out on work at noon. Mid 80 degrees inland, low 70s on the coast. Perfection.

Amazing. So come out and join me! I promise you a good ride. I'm not nearly as fast as some of you, but the last two rides were exhilarating and I was pushing the bike pretty hard, although I still didn't get all the way to the edge of the tire:

That's what you call a tire with just under 8,000 miles on it. Seriously. Eight thousand. And a dirty-ass rim because I don't know where to clean my bike any more. Garages? In SF? Haha. Chain is clean though.

So come on out. I'm at the very least expecting YOU to stop by, mileageguy. Sheesh. Free housing. Amazing roads. A tour guide. Wine tasting. Beers.
