Re: Ride Friday?

I didn't know about this bike wash thing until you just posted about it. Wild.

I'll go, as long as the wash comes with a happy ending.

I mean, what?

Thanks for the company today, guys. Good roads for the most part and the weather was just about perfect.

Hope the pace was o.k. Sorry about my screw-ups leading, but I'm still pretty much a rookie at this stuff.

I do have to admit, that after today, I've finally learned that passing the pickup truck/muscle car in the twisties is not such a great idea. I believe I will refrain from attempting this maneuver ever again. Anytime I'm stuck behind a slow moving vehicle in a blind corner, I will repeat my new mantra: patience. This is also known as not dying, which, like the guard rail and ditch, is something else I'd rather avoid at this point.

I have to go out and paint my garage now and won't make it to the "water show" at Sport Rider, but I'm sure someone will post pictures of the event. Have fun!

Thank you, sir, for leading. I am sorry if the schedule was was rushed in any way because of me.

Today was the last day of band practice for Zach. The kids are back in school as of next week and my Fridays are mine again!! cool

Re: Ride Friday?

I am hoping that bike wash pictures are forthcoming and photographic evidence of any "happy endings" are not.

Re: Ride Friday?

i got the zuki suds up for the first and most likely last time of the season.  it may have been dirtier when they were done than when they started.  i certainly felt dirtier.  there's nothing quite like watching several straight-legged "ladies" in bikinis washing the underside of your fairing.  :ftbrg: keep an eye on the carp website for incriminating photos.

If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

Re: Ride Friday?

I guess you could only expect to leave dirtier with those dirty washers! :a2m:
