Leon Winfrey from PrivateTrackTime contacted me yesterday regarding the club's interest in doing a track day with PTT this year. I told him a weekend date would work best. The only weekend he has is October 17th and 18th at Blackhawk Farms.
Many of you have been there before and know that this is a fun little track that allows for on-site camping which is convenient and allows us to enjoy our "group" that much more. Last year, under new management, updates were made to the facilities (showers, etc) which make it even more appealing.
Leon is looking for the club to sponsor this event. He hasn't reserved this track time yet and is looking for our support, financially, to do so.
The cost to non-members would be $150 per day. I haven't spoken to Leon, but if you wanted to do both days, my guess is there would be a discount. Paid club members would recieve a discount of $10, so $140 per day.
I know October is a long way off, but I for one missed not having a club track day last year and would enjoy doing one once again. That said, please send me an email or a private message or post up with your interest in this event or with any questions.

Borrow Skrawny's again. Just don't stand up straight.
I'm in, Champ. Thanks to the flu or whatever, I won't be spending money on food right away. How soon do we need to ante up?
Do I think I'm better than everyone? Only the ones I'm better than.

At least I wouldn't have to worry about splitting myself in half from the nuts up! Wait, do you wear anything under them?

I think you're right 9man. As for when to ante up, let's wait until this is a for sure thing, then the sooner the better.
Please chime in if you are interested at all. I'm not looking for firm commitments at this point, just a strong desire to do this.

leathers are not supposed to be comfortable standing upright if they fit properly.

So that's 5 (1 from email) and a prissel. Assuming my bike and I survive until October, that's 6. Leon wants to make a decision about the October date by Monday. Very short notice so any and all input would be appreciated.
