That wasn't nice, Scout.
Prissel, I still haven't done a track day yet either. I hope this year, it finally works out.

Hell I'll give you a ten dollar discount if you go.
That's along way off, but put me down as a tentative yes.

Yeah I know, I want to, but as of now my must haves for the upcoming season are gloves for sure, my old ones ripped out. I would also need pants which I know I will not find any to mate with my coat that good because my jacket is stretched out and a pair of boots...the Icon boots that I have do not let you tuck anything into them. Thats alot of money, I need to start hitting up some closeouts or something.

I've got an Icon Bling jacket at home....I had a zipper sewn into it for last year. If you want to borrow, you are more than welcome. Not sure how much trouble it would be to mate race pants with them. It's a man jacket, in good shape and has been pre-scuffed for the superstitious. Can't remember the size. My brother will tell you I've stretched the chest out...

Thanks for the offer, my jacket has a zip already sewn into the back of it I would just have to get pants and find some boots. I have never looked into boots, what are some decent brands that are going to be at a good price, I also want something that would be comfortable enough to wear for normal riding.

The A** S-MX Racing boots I have aren't cheap, but are WAY comfortable. So much so, that I sometimes wear them all day at work when I ride there. I took the suggestion to buy those from a number of people. Of course, you don't necessarily need to go that big.
Check the fine print as far as requirements for track days. Each place tends to vary a little.
Sportbiketracktime (the sponsor for the two weekends I'm doing), for instance:
Rider Gear Requirements (No, shorts and flip flops won't cut it....)
1) Damage free BSI, DOT or SNELL full-face helmet with face shield.
2) Riding boots that fully cover the ankle.
3) Gauntlet style gloves with full wrist coverage.
4) One or two piece leathers. Two piece leather suits must zip together for Novice, Intermediate or Advanced groups. Ballistic nylon suits such as Joe Rocket, AeroStitch etc. are acceptable in the Novice and Intermediate Group only provided they are either one piece or two piece that zip together with 50% zipper contact, reinforced and padded shoulders, elbows, hips, and knee areas. No chaps.
Advanced and Intermediate group riders ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A BACK PROTECTOR. Soft back pads sewn into suits are not enough. We sell Bohn back protectors at special STT member discounts. We can arrange to deliver your new back protector to you the day of your event or ship it to you home. We will have a limited number (6-10 per event) of back protectors for rent. No back protector = no track time!!!
2009 Season: STT recommonds the use of chest protectors.
After that, it's just a matter of how protected you want to be.
You might look like a dork with pieced-together stuff, but really...does that matter?

I bet the wonder woman 2 piece suit I sold Koestler would fit you (except the belly). I think it comes just below my knees. Seriously though, it might do the trick and wouldn't be any big heartbreak if you trashed em. What size ground slappers you got?

Yeah I know, I know I dont need a brand new suit by any means but for 200.00 for a new one I cannot go wrong and i could always get rid of it in the years to come for about the same price.
