Saturday 6th... 1 or 2 up

Was not able to ride as far a Nooky was going.. but at 1 I will be ready for a rip is anyone would like to go. Holiday on Folsom street by Menards and Culvers . Leave at 1. Nothing 2 aggressive,so 2 up is fine as well

Fun ride ... sorry about the sprocket D. Although coming back winding thru CC and SS and then on D, I came across a healthy turkey. It hit my headlights and gauges... bounced up and hit me square in the helmet . ended up in my lap. I pushed it off and watched it flop around in my good mirror. Turned around to see if it was suffering, feathers all over the road. Big Bird made it over the bank. Lucky, Neck is a little stiff. assess all of the damages when i straighten the headlight and mirror prior to the ride tomorrow. I will be washing the turkey shit off the helmet and coat before the ride also.

I realize you and your bike have been a magnet for birds this year, but this time you've out done yourself.

This must be suicide week for birds as I hit a turkey vulture on Tuesday. No damage except for the bird. I was able to duck down and took it in the forhead. They are a very well built bird, I might add.
