Does anyone have a new or newer shield (preferably dark smoke) that will fit a Corsair V that they want to part with? I need it tonight or I'll just wait and order a new one when I get back. The one I received yesterday doesn't fit the Corsair V. :banghead:

I have a Corsair RX-7. I don't know if that translates but I use a dark smoke visor and you may BORROW. I've got a spare (clear) that will hold me till the smoke one comes back.
Incidentally, my father, once upon a time owned a Cougar XR-7. 1979, yah hey. ....Pretty sure the XR-7 stood for "land yacht."

Do I think I'm better than everyone? Only the ones I'm better than.

I'm not sure either. The replacement shield I have looks the same as the original shield, but it's roughly 1/2 inch shorter so I can get it to snap in, but when I try to close it, no dice. It scrapes on the front of the lid and won't completely close.
Anywho, I may just take a look at your shield so the next order will be correct.

I'll chisel the bug corpses off it.

Looked at the package of the one I have when I got home. It's for the RX7 as well as about 100 other models.
Thanks anyway.

Other than the 22 hour drive, I'm still jealous.
