Re: Rock Falls

Perhaps the club should help "sponsor" club-member entry fees like a couple of years ago.  Just a thought.

Re: Rock Falls

If 12x has time, him and I could probably handle it...don't want to speak for him, though.

Depending on the new baby arrival I will also plan on being there and helping out to make it a club event!

Re: Rock Falls

put gas in them.  unless u run below 10 seconds (is this right?) u should only need full leathers.  if u supercharge that ninja before u go and can crack that 10 sec barrier, u need to rig up a tethered kill switch.

Re: Rock Falls

I don't think the kill switch is required for the bike only day I could be wrong however!

Re: Rock Falls

I spoke to Jennifer today at Rock Falls Raceway regarding the upcoming event.  She is going to discuss a $5 discount with the owner and get back to me.  Assuming the owner ok's this and also assuming that the club kicks in another $5, the cost to run will be $30.  Spectators would pay $10 with no discount from the track, but perhaps the club would still kick in $5?

Again, this is preliminary information.  I'll post again when I know more.....don't hold your breasts, I mean breath.

Re: Rock Falls

Just got done talking to the champ about Rock Falls and I am glad to hear there is a lot on interest.  Aaron could you put up a pole for Rock Falls that we could get a good idea of who is planning on coming so we know?  Anyone that has friends with bike's let them know and get them signed up with our club to even save a little money for being a club member right off the bat!  I am looking forward to a fun day of hanging out and talking a ton of shop as usual!

Re: Rock Falls

O.K.  So this is me telling you the way it us.

If you're racing, let them know at the gate that you're with "the club".  They'll charge you $35 instead of $40.  If you're a spectator, you'll be charged the full $10 at the gate.  If you are a PAID MEMBER of the club, come and find me for your club member discount.  If you're racing, you'll receive $10 making the effective cost of entry only $25.  If you're a spectator, you'll receive $5 back.
