Patching a tire?

I picked up a nail in my rear tire and it makes a good leak
i was wonderin if its possible to patch that from the inside or if i should throw some slime in it, i'd hate to buy a new pirelli diablo for it but if i hav then i hav to,

you can patch it with a plug kit as a temporary fix.  but the best thing to do would be to replace the tire.  also, don't do anything silly with the plug in.  but since you have a kawi, i wouldn't worry because they are slow bikes...
