Mr. 12,

I know this has probably been asked before but, can these here rides be attended by those of us sans a passenger? Just wondering, because it looks like tomorrow is going to be the better of the 2 days this weekend and I thought I might just ride along.

Yeah, you can go without a passenger. I always end up going it seems, and I will again tomorrow, as the girlfriend is working again.

Should be fun, hope it's not too sticky hot out!

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

FYI.. as in the past Paul.. these 2 up rides are "subdued". I think the Champs reasoning is to conserve natural resources for the Sunday rides. Which i have no problem with being a single parent on a fixed income.

I may tag along as well.

Anyone is welcome to join in on the fun.  I'm not sure why I mentioned that I'll be 2 up other than to point of the fact that I'm gettin' some.  Classy.

Weather permitting, I'll be there.

As for the "gettin' some" information, we're happy for you.
Your avatar seems kinda, ...um, relieved also.

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

Well, Paul, the weather most certainly permitted.  Four bikes, five riders, good times, good times.

Cty D outside Pepin is still absolutely filthy with pea gravel.  The good kind that's the same color as the road.

We encountered another bald eagle playing in the road.  They seem to spend Saturdays dining on fresh roadkill.

Tons of bikes, bicycles and tractors out.  Always makes for an interesting mix.

Shot some pics along the way.  A couple nice boats at the Pickle Factory in Pepin.

Double A Ron, by the way, I was just kidding when I said you weren't allowed to chew the pickle when you ate it.  Quite impressive though.

Holy shit, am I really that tall?

Good ride, I enjoyed it. Let's hope tomorrow's weather isn't balls so we can get out again before the cold week sets in!

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

Aaron,

In attempt to make myself feel better about my stature, yes, you ARE that tall!
You're SO tall you make all the other people in the photo look short.

There. All the egos are fed for the day.

Everybody, good time today, like always.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

Hey Champ, you pointed out you are "getting some" so with the season winding down and the need for conversation, maybe you could head up a new forum called "Riding The Champ". With your infinite wisdom you could have such topics as; "Positions I Have Tried" "Positions I Have Not Tried" "Positions I Have Should Not Tried" Positions She Just Won't Do. Another topic would be "Casual Dinning, the Art of Eating Out" or "Felatio's, Not Just Hot Air!" You could have your GF have a topic with her perspective; "Under The Champ" You could also have product testing of condoms and call it "Burning Rubber!". You could also review "training films" with subtitles; "Porn For Couples", "Porn For Singles", and "Porn For Arron"  I could go on.......  :69: :a2m: :hitit2:

My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...... WOW....WHAT A RIDE!                                                                            "Got Amsoil"

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

A thought for consideration....

Those of us sans back-seater could just as easily be "getting some" but refuse to display that fact on the pillion.  Also, holding on is an issue as some "significant others" lack opposable thumbs.  Or hands. Or even limbs.

The Champ's reasoning started out, more than likely, to accommodate....look out...2 ups.  Any 1-ups were invited along who were willing to ride at a reduced pace as well.  The Champ obviously sees a raging, speedy potential in this particular slow-poke, and kindly invited same to ride along.  Also, it makes me less whiny.

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

Thank God D is back.  The forum almost died over the weekend in her absence.

Re: 2-up 2-morrow

If I had actual friends, I wouldn't NEED the forum.

When's the next ride? I got a dress to rip up.
