What if we just go skiing in Turd's back yard?

No moguls but we got dog-mines the size of volkswagons.

Bump for the poll.  If you're interested in a ski trip and haven't voted regarding when to go, please do so.  The results so far are pretty inconclusive.

All right. I move my vote from January 5th to February 16th.  That'll look conclusive.

And when do I get to be a friggin member already?  I tried to pay once....

Thanks for being so flexible Mx.  You can be a member anytime you give Turd a check for $25.  If you hurry, you can be a paid member in 2007.  Memberships, you see, run from January 1st through December 31st.

I guess it was just an idea.  Hard to gauge the interest.  Paul, as the resident skier, if you'd like to run with this I say go for it.

Re: Club-sponsored ski trip

Or someone posts up for a "ride" when they've got the urge.  No sub-dude ride for me. I'm a pro...in the amateur sense. I can even do this drunk...if need be. smile

Like the brother said, we have an annual dysfunctional family and friends trip in March at Powderhorn.  Typically during Hawaii Fest...March 5-10 or thereabout.  We typically fill up our two chalets as far as bedding is concerned, but if you guys wanna go in together on housing elsewhere, our doors are open for the hanging out and ski-in/ski-out booze and potty stop.  One or two people might be able to plead for floor or couch on either side.  I'll just have to check with the bosses. Let me or the sibling know.

Where we stay...Timberline & Timbercrest. http://www.bpla.com/lodging/407-1/407-1.htm

This one has outdoor hot tubs and is next door to us on the hill. http://www.bpla.com/lodging/406-1/406-1.htm

This one also has outdoor tubs, but is across the street on another run. http://www.bpla.com/lodging/417-1/417-1.htm  Where this happened....

Opinions vary, but back in the day I would have to say that we skiied almost everything in the U.P. until we discovered Lutzen. It was the closest thing to mountain skiing we could hope to find here in the midwest. Even Glen Plake gave it a 1 thumb up.

At the very least he likely gave it 6 spikes up. smile
