Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

ASSuming the forecast holds, we'll be riding this Sunday the 20th.  Normal time and place; Shanghai Bistro at 10, kickstands up at 10:30.

Vroom vroom.

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

If there is no set plan yet, we can meet a group from MNSBR in Durand at around 12:15.

It's all set up, so let me know if that isn't going to work, so I can let them know.

Oh and IN!

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

I'd say it depends on who shows up tomorrow for our ride.  It's a blast riding with the MN crew, no doubt, but again, it may not be the right ride for everyone who shows up tomorrow.

Just my opinion a.k.a. gospel. big_smile

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Fixed it and I don't think I broke it either.

I also pulled that chunk of metal out of my tire.  I think Badfish was right that it didn't puncture it, but was just in the tread.  It was about an inch and a half long and seemed to come out more parallel than perpendicular. No spit bubbles after removal so I hope I got lucky.

I'm working on ANOTHER conspiracy theory as Rand showed up at Shanghai, "checked out" my bike and then went back home rather than riding with the group.  I haven't put everything together just yet, but I will.  ROCK FALLS CONSPIRACY

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Wow. That's way creepy. He even went all the way out to Mondovi(?) to lay out that chunk of metal right where you'd run it over. Just you.

I'm kinda glad I only have a 600. Rand, yer eeeeevillll.

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

I hadn't thought of that possibility.  My guess was that the chunk was in my tire the whole time, but wasn't noticed until we were in Independence.  Rand is sneaky-fast though.  I'll continue to mull it over.

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Boy, I'm GREAT at figuring out where we ride....

I watched him "inspect" your bike at Shanghai, but I don't recall seeing him near the tire. It could be that I slipped into a space-time continuum while sitting there, allowing him to perform the sneaky-fast deed. That usually happens to me while on a ride...which gives me the appearance of riding too slow.

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Hey Kids, a great ride yesterday. It was a perfect day to clean out the cobwebs, (unfortunatly I forgot to clean out the corners!). Kudos to the days leaders. Thanks MX for judging. It would of been sad to waste the entertainment! I would also like to share some random thoughts and observations.                                                                                                                                                   >First, I impersonate Benny Hill far better than Eddie Lawson.
>Champ has an up and down, even a "cocked" relationship with his zipper.
>Uttering the words "Oh Sh$$" does nothing for turning or braking!
>Mx-  1) gets great gas milage.
          2) carries bullets, but no gun.
          3) likes to bragg to people she "sucks"
          4) has a obsesion for broken zippers.
>I have added more support that incidents happen within 20 miles from home ( around 10-12, I figure).
>I have never even considered leaving my pride in that part of the county.
> Badfish and milageguy are developing a new messaging system, but still have some broken peices to fix.
> The sealer that the County is using on the roads is holding up very well.
>I believe that humanity will be defined by Crazy Glue, Zipties and Duct Tape.
> And finally, Galactica will find Earth.

On a side note, since I am playing an Agricultural Engineer this spring and working a small portion of America's Heartland, I won't be able to ride for 4-6 weeks, unless it rains on Saturday!(Stop clapping Paul!). I will keep up with the website, though. Oh, I almost forgot, Good Luck Aaron in your future indevers. You have done a great job with this site. Well, it is off to my county snowmobile meeting! Later,Kaos

My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...... WOW....WHAT A RIDE!                                                                            "Got Amsoil"

Re: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

One EENSY clarification. By "sucks",  he means I'm bad at riding a motorcycle. I hope.

Boy that gas thing really was fucking stupid, wasn't it. Damn you, Champ. You revealed the dumb blond chink in my armor.

Where's my walking wiener sticker!!!??!

P.S. Chink, as defined within the context of this post -> A narrow opening, such as a crack or fissure.
