First Club Ride of the Year

Just a reminder that this Sunday, the 4th, is the first club ride of the year.  We'll meet, as usual, at Shanghai Bistro at 10, kickstands up at 10:30.  It's looking a bit cool, but dry, so we'll see you all there.

Not quite. Merely excellent yet selective cerebral retention for useless information.

Re: First Club Ride of the Year

Just letting you know that I tried out my new Motocomm camera for the stretch after lunch.  Got about 25 minutes of video.  Not too bad, little dark in spots.  Will tweak on it this week to figure out how to make it play back better at a larger viewing size (television).

Just in case you are interested in seeing the somewhat boring video, just drop me a line.  Will be more than happy to send the file.

Also, thanks for the ride today.  Great roads, great bikes, great people.  Made me feel like part of the group.

Always nice to hear feedback like this.  BEST RIDE EVER?  Perhaps.  I dare you to prove me wrong.  238.8 miles all tolled for me today.  Weeeeee!

Days like today and people like you all are the reason I love this sport.

Thanks to Rod at Wheelers outside Arcadia for the good food, as always, and for joining us for a nice 70ish mile loop. :wheelie:

All right there intraweb tough-guy.  You were given several chances to voice your opinion regarding extending the ride, so you, fine sir, may do it like Trooper Johnson. :finger:

7 hours huh.  Let's do the math.  4 hours actually riding.  1 hour eating lunch.  Leaving 2 hours sitting at stop signs WAITING! :bolt: :naughty:

I kid because I care.

I enjoy the stop sign time ... gives my back, shoulders, and neck a rest.

Re: First Club Ride of the Year

Milageguy and Badfish,

I forgot to ask this in my first post, did you guys have your eyes on a particular member of the flock? Or were they all in play?

To my untrained eye they looked pretty much alike, but perhaps your guys have more experience at this kind of thing.

Just wanted to know.

I'd just like to add to that the incredible thigh muscles that Kramer has...he was gettin' warmed up behind y'all. Good thing he had boots on...keeps 'em from running away....

This hind tit begs your most magnanimous forgiveness, but we of the rearish, technically don't stop. So hey, Crash, in the back = more ride time. smile

Silly me. I forgot to thank Badfish for the hops-spit-tality. If you could fast-forward through all the Rossi ass-shots, I would be forever in your debt.

Re: First Club Ride of the Year

Big fun. The suspension settings the day before really made the front feel more planted, even if it was a small change.

Plowdude, I am glad you felt welcome. Always great to have more riders with.

Crash06, you're not the first one to come away from a longer club ride with a sore ass. Wait, I mean...

MxMech = getting faster for sure.

Paulc, it was the cute one with the long eyelashes. She was backing slowly, provocatively, towards the fence as we passed. Don't pretend you didn't see her.

A great day of riding.
