2008 Corona AMA Superbike Finale

I'd like to extend and invitation to whoever would like to come out and head to Laguna Seca for this event, September 27th and 28th. Tickets are $45 for the two days, and there are other things that can be purchased as well, like a $50 escorted lap around the track if you have a bike, wooha! (http://www.laguna-seca.com/Tickets/inde … EventID=25)

I can provide rides down to the track and housing for anyone willing to come out. Shuttling you to and from the airport is no problem either. It's about 160 miles from my apartment down to the racetrack, which means with California traffic about 3 to 4 hours. We'd probably crash at a hotel down by the track on Saturday night so we don't have to drive all the way back up, or maybe get a place in the city so whoever visits can check out San Francisco. You'd be welcome to stay any length of time too, to enjoy the state and do touristy stuff.

Airline tickets are currently around $300 for round trip, Friday through Monday. They might fall with time, or if gas prices keep climbing like they are (I just filled up my bike @ 4.47/gallon!), you might end up paying more for a flight. Yikes.

So come one, come all. Just let me know if you'll be coming with me to the races!
