I just bought a corsa III for the front and I picked up a rear rim this winter with a new Pilot power on it and was wondering if I would run into any issues running them together?
I don't personally see why it would hurt and I figured that someone on here probably has done this so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Eh, you'll be fine. I ran a different front and rear for half of 2007, once I got used to the different feel of each tire, wasn't a big deal.

I ran a 3 different rears before my front wore out. Then i got a matching set. I think as long as the tires have a similar compounds you are fine. Like don't run a touring tire with a race tire.

I started running a michelin pp front and a pr2 rear, so I wouldn't say mixing and matching compounds is a definite no-no, just make the mix fit your style.
I've heard it's a bad idea to mix brands because of different profiles, but don't have any personal experience with this.
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

bibmen say to not run a harder tire up front than in back, but softer front than back is OK, thats all he could tell me a couple years ago as far as michelin goes.
I have seen guys run different brands front to back, like an R1 at blackhawk, and he was pretty darn fast............. I guess pay attention to your geometry a little too, like ride height.
I'll make you famous!

My whole plan pretty much is to burn up the rear pp but I don't feel like buying a front to match. I figure the corsa III and the pp should be realative as far as compound but I do believe that the corsa has a more rounded profile then the pp.
I mean what's the worst that can happen.LOL

While were talking about tires has anybody ran the bridgestone BT-002RS's? I haven't found anything but great reviews, I'm planning on picking up a set mainly for track day's hence the reason I want to burn up the PP so I have a empty set of rims. I think for my level they would be more then adequate.

That sucks...sorry man. The least companies could do is go out of business during riding weather...
