Just wanted to thank everyone that assisted in the leather cleaning this weekend... just needs to be treated now after it dries again. When i bought my boots, I was only driving my ST. I made sure I bought a water proof boot. Now that I am using the boots for riding the triple, the boots actually hold the water in. Working to keep my feet cool and moist.

Two rides.. two cleanings.

Still had a good time..... A shitty day of riding is better than pocket pool

I never cancel rides because of rain. We went 250 miles today, and managed to dodge the storms and still have a blast. If you know the roads around New Albin Iowa and Eitzen etc. you know it was a blast.
Glad I didn't stay home and watch the Packer/Viqueen game anyway blah.

the ride was definitely not cancelled. however, there was no dodging a damn thing. once the rain started, there it was. maybe we should have gone south instead......hindsight. :devil:

Not to mention the motorcycle gods.... i wouldnt ride after dark if i were you, or on sunny days.. or rainy.. or cloudy... or cold.. or snowy... or thursdays.. or tuesdays.. or mondays.. fridays... tuesdays still.. saturdays before or after the hangover.. wednesdays would be bad too.. sundays only to church to pray for your sins and your bad bad soul... than put the friggen bike away and read the bible (not while on the stool)
