It'd been awhile since I ventured out completely alone for a ride. Although I wouldn't want to ride by myself all of the time, I'd forgotten how much fun it can be. I mean, how often does someone like me get to be in the company of true equals? Not often enough, you're right. Just over 130 miles in just under 2 hours including going through Mondovi twice, Independence once, and a non-pay-at-the-pump gas stop.
Now it's time for a little road report. Hwy 93 South of E.C. to II is pristine. No cow shit or gravel at all. I suggest running this over and over and over and.... W was decent. The first section was brand new asphalt covered with just the right amount of gravel in just the wrong places. H was in good shape as well.
There's something in the southbound lane of 88 on the second to last left before the gravel pit. The road was in shadows, but something grabbed my front tire and moved it exactly one shit-ton to the right. The rear didn't want to feel left out so it followed along nicely. I hope the F250 pulling the gravity box I just passed enjoyed the show.
The cagers have destroyed the beautiful new pavement on XX off of U. Same goes for BB off of 121. Anything under 35mph suggested corner speed was filthy from shoulder to shoulder. Q out of Independence is sooooooo much fun. Going to make a point of getting down there more often next year.
In general, plenty of cow shit, gravel, turkeys, tractors, logging trucks and pheasants to maked the ride a bit more challenging. Aaron, H from Mondovi to E.C. is still sweet. Thought you'd like to know.
I'd contemplated taking some pics and posting them up, but that would get in the way of burning fossil fuels and that's just no good at all.
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

Glad to see someone came to their senses and didn't waste a beautiful day!
I make a motion (and I'm sure Aaron will second it) that we should run H a lot more next year.
Q too!

Sheet. I was out today, 240 miles to be exact. I intended to ride for a little and go to work at 3:00. I called the boss and said I'd be late, and he told me to just have fun and take the day off. I ran so many routes I can't remember them all, but notable roads were 37, 88, G, O, E, Eagle Valley road, Waumandee Creek road, Schaffner, Oak Valley road, T and D outside of Arcadia, etc. I didn't see any other sportbikes, but a few Hardleys and sport tourers.

Hah. My boss also was playing hooky, hence the sympathy I guess. We are not hiring, and my boss is a pretty good guy for a Packer fan living in Arcadia bahaha.

I saw your tag. It's not within a 1/2 mile of my house.
Do I think I'm better than everyone? Only the ones I'm better than.

I have many days like that throughout the year... I sometimes prefer to not wait or be around any one but me... Im not stuck on myself... just like to clear my head this way. Before i make a major decision... or spend alot of money... or life in general. Thats why i ride so much... have alot to think about. Wish I could have been doing the same.
Is it still called porn if she is in love with the horse ?
