PR2

So, I'm thinking about trying a set of the new Michelin Power Road 2's.  Three questions for you.

First, has anyone used these?

Second, if so, what'd you think?

Third, do you know where a guy can get his hands on a set?  They're proving to be quite an elusive purchase.

Make that four questions.  Does anyone, <cough Rand>, know if the profile of a PR2 matches the PP?

Michelin's site says you lose a bit of dry-weather traction.  Don't know if I can afford that on the front, so my idea is to possibly run a PP front and a PR2 rear if the profiles match.

Any and all constructive feedback would be appreciated.  All non-constructive feedback will be tolerated, I guess, but only becuase I am King Sarcastic and fair is fair.

Re: PR2

Tire express has them but there $300 bucks a set.  Not sure how many miles you would have to get extra to make it pay the powers are still cheaper I think.  Give Dave a call at bibmen.com he will answer any questions you have on running  2 diffrent treds!

Re: PR2

I  Have done just that... Bought a Road 2 for the rear of the triple. The front i stayed with just the Power. It is in my living room right now, so i have no feedback on the life of the tire as of yet. The  regular power only lasted me about 3000 miles so it will be easy for me to see how it fairs.

I purchased mine from Motorcycle superstore.. If i recall correctly it was $172 for the rear.
