While talking with a gentleman this afternoon at a hamburger/hot dog stand, I learned of a ride next Saturday. It's a benefit ride for his brother, Rick Geroux, who died earlier this year at the age of 54 of a brain aneurism. Rick had recently had a heart attack and a kidney transplant. All proceeds of the food stand and ride will be going to the "Gift of Life House" in Rochester, MN. The "Gift of Life House" is similar to the Ronald McDonald house except that GLH is for adults.
Ride particulars: Registration from 9-10 at the Welcome Matt
Leaving at 10:15 sharp
All vehicles welcome
Suggested donation is $10/bike, $15/couple
Ride goes to Rochester with stops in Nelson, WI and Plainview, MN. The ride will conclude at the Oakwood Bar & Grill south of Eau Claire on Hwy. 37. A prize drawing and music will be at Oakwood.

If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride could do.

It is a bar just outside of EC on Hwy 37 just past the Little Red School
