Aug 15 thru the 17th

The club was invited to up coming event this weekend.. the following was the email i recieved a while back... let me know if anyone is interested in any or all. Now that im back, I have a call into them to see what has been updated.

The schedule currently looks something like this:

Friday, August 15th 4:00pm meet at Dewey's Roadhouse in Chippewa Falls then at 6:00 depart up Hwy 178, the river run, headed to Reich's Roadhouse. Probably just let everybody set up camp and have a dj that night. Nothing too big, just a laid back night and a few drinks with friends.

Saturday, August 16th 7-8:00am Breakfast to be served at Reich's Roadhouse 9:00am form up for a ride to the High Ground departing at 10:00. This is the same weekend as the High Ground ride, so we are showing support for it. Thing is, they have no parties or event afterwards so we are hoping to draw interest from some of its riders. We will stop at the High Ground from 12-1, then return to Sheldon, should arrive back there between 3 and 4. At 6:00, this being our late figure, we are planning to start up the stunts. Right now we are thinking two to three hours, however long it takes, then roll right into the burnout pit, and sometime later watch wet boobies in the moonlight. Oh, and the band Catsass will be playing that night.

Sunday, August 17th We will again serve some morning grub, break camp, and run the river back to Dewey's Roadhouse probably early afternoon, where we will say our farewells.

So, thats what we have figured out so far. Still working on prizes for the burnout contest and t-shirt contest. Right now I don't think we want to competition the stunt bikes, not this year. I would like to try this thing out, get through this year, build interest, and then do a no bullshit stunt competition with judges, prizes, and the works. This year if we just put on a show and draw in a crowd we will be doing great.

I don't know about the overnight aspect, but I'd be down for a run to the high grounds on Saturday.

Re: Aug 15 thru the 17th

Plans have changed... here is the email I  received today ........

The only change is that we could not do the stunt demo due to an insurance demand of cement barriers. Short notice on it and it was nowhere in our budget, so we had to scratch that. But, we still have alot of riding to do, alot of prizes to give away, and plenty of partying to be done. Friday night we have a dinner buffet at Foster's on our way north for $12 also. I expect to see a good variety of bikes out and it looks like we have alot of people coming out.

Next year we will regroup and replan a stunt demo as well. Hope you guys can make it. Cody
