Club Ride 8/17/08

Good to see everyone out today. Put a few new roads (lanes? trails?) into the mix. Probably not something I'd try with a larger group, but it seemed to work out pretty well with our smaller group. It been a while, but it was good to lead again. Hope the pace was o.k.

Perhaps I'm crazy (and believe me, some have stated this to be true in this context) but it's always a pleasure riding with you guys and girls.

I definitely appreciated your leading, Paul.  I know it's annoying when you've taken on the burden of leading and someone jumps in front of you, but there were a few sections I had to push through just to make sure my head was where it needs to be.  It is.

BTW, if anyone would like to work up a route map and lead or have someone else use the map to lead, feel free to do so.  Paul took us on some cow trails today that I've never been on before and they were saweeet!  Speaking of cow trails, since when is Hwy 95 a cow trail?

You lost me right away...where...Hamilton? You tutor under Kramer or what?

Funny thing, from May to Shanghai and back is A LOT farther when you're under your own steam...what little there is of it. I was SO hoping the hind tit on your ride would have grabbed a hold and pulled me at least to the next stop sign...

As always you did a great job Paul.....

I will lead if you want me to.... would just like to know a little in advance to  plot a route, As you know I carry only the essentials on the Triple... and some happy pills of course.

Yeah Paulc , GREAT ride man. a lot of riders really missed out by not making it/being hung over/too hung over to ride...
Hopefully SideShowBob will make a lot more rides!

Hungover wouldn't stopped me (even though I was). Couldn't abandon the visiting 'rents for the whole day (though I wanted to...that's two Sundays in a row I've missed going "Wait for meeeeee!").
