Re: Rock Falls

Just a reminder to everyone about the day at the strip club, I mean drag strip this Sunday.  I believe they start running at 9:00 with races starting at 1:00.  Tell them you're with the CVSBC or is it CVSC at the gate and you'll receive your $5 discount if you're racing then come find me and get your additonal $10.  Spectators, again, will only get $5 back from me and no discount at the gate.

I think I'm taking the couch on wheels out there Sunday so if anyone needs a ride shoot me a PM, unless you're Tubgirl, then shoot me a BM.

Late.

Tubgirl =  :barf: , people at work(including myself) keep changing the name on the attachment and sending it around.  Its good for a nice surprise email when someone isn't on their toes!!!

Re: Rock Falls

I think I'm gonna trailer my bike to RF Sunday and I got one spot left in there if anyone needs a lift. I'll even pick it up from the E.C. Saturday evening if anyone is interested.

Anyone know the rules about bringing a grill to the paddock?

Re: Rock Falls

I'm gonna try to be there around 8:30.  I am bringing an EZ up.  Does anyone know if we have access to electricity out there?  Champ and Rand....let me know if you guys need me to bring anything or if you guys need help with anything tomorrow.  I suppose that goes for any of you!

We will see you there!  Aaron I haven't heard from you and I looked at that tire and it wasn;t as good as I thought so I mounted it to burn it up tomorrow.  Still have the set though!

Ri,
I know how R6's anger you...sadly, I wasn't the fastest R6.  I ran another one there and he had hit 10.5 earlier in the day! :doublefinger:

Re: Rock Falls

First, congratulations to Rand on his trophy win!!  It's only fitting he would win since he had the biggest fan club roaming the paddock.  Congrats again buddy and good to see you back in the saddle.

We had 7 paid club members attend as racers and 6 as spectators.  There were at least 3 other racers who are "affiliated" with the club, but not paid members.  As for other spectators, my best guess is around 11, 8 paying adults and 3 non-paying children.  So, folks affiliated with the club contributed just over $400 in admission fees.  The club shelled out a total of $100 (7x$10 + 6x$5=$100).  Money well-spent in my opinion.

I just sent Jennifer, my contact at the track, an email with our club-member and affiliates attendance numbers.  I also conveyed our appreciation for the discount and our eager anticipation for next year's event.

Thanks to everyone who came out.
