Re: Laguna Feedback

It's all a question of priorities. Starve the baby or stay home?

Do I think I'm better than everyone? Only the ones I'm better than.

Re: Laguna Feedback

Overall, two thumbs up.

Too much food or too little turn out?

I know the C&W band had nothing to do with the event, but I found them less than entertaining. Fortunately, there was plenty of entertainment to go around.

It's my understanding this is a fund raiser for the club.  Were they objecting to how much they had to pay? I know we are all probably at different points in our lives financially but $20 for; awsome food, beer that never ran out (at least while I was there,) and a couple of chances to win some really nice prizes seems reasonable to me. I know I know "easy for me to say" on that last point.

NO shit...steel $20 from your mom.....again!

Re: Laguna Feedback

You should think about having the party at Chubby's next year.

You might not have to steal the $20 from your mom, just make her work Waterstreet and fifth a couple nights! :-)

Re: Laguna Feedback

I want to thank the officers and all who helped make this happen. Excellent job on the pig, Badfish.  I would also want to thank Cory for hospitallity. I love having the event here but, I also think we need to get it closer to EC. With the price of gas and these silly drinking laws, people just don't want to drive very far anymore. I think it is nonsense on $20 to non members is to much. Where are you going to get all you can drink, all you can eat and prizes for $20! I would pay that as a member to get all that! I also think that anything outside and depending on the weather is out (Have we forgotten last year?) A love outdoor parties, but this is too big to count on ol mother nature. I think a DJ would be the way to go, so everyone could hear what they wanted (MX is kinda fickeled when it comes to music). A place like Pioneer would work really well. They allow you to have part of the patio and you have music, bean bags, volleyball, pool etc. Unfortunatly, the distance thing comes into play again.

My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...... WOW....WHAT A RIDE!                                                                            "Got Amsoil"
